I am a researcher, writer, policy advocate, and campaign strategist based in Los Angeles, California.

I have spent much of my career challenging corporate and state control of technology, working with non-profit organizations like Accountable Tech, Check My Ads Institute, The Governance Lab at NYU, and Aapti Institute. I have researched and written about platform power and antitrust, biometric and gig worker surveillance, carceral technology, and reproductive privacy.

These days, you can find me teaching intro to belaying and lead classes at the climbing gym, devotedly riding my bike throughout LA, and writing and building around the following things:

• Counter-surveillance and community capacity building — how can we document invisible and visible surveillance infrastructure that shapes urban life through photography and narrative storytelling?
• Speculative technology — how can we use writing and speculative object-making to imagine a future beyond Big Tech? how can we build alternative infrastructure to help people re-negotiate their relationships with technology?
• Digital memory & archiving — how can we use digital tools to preserve memory and physical spaces?
